Announcement of Mumbai leaders in the Inaugural Meeting

On Saturday 15th October 2022, the Inaugural meeting of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) was held at Trident English High School, Kandivali, Mumbai under the Chairmanship of Baddy Hemantakumar  BRS Mumbai Region President.

 At the beginning of the meeting, the people of Mumbai expressed gratitude to BRS Chief and Telangana Chief Minister Sri Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao popularly known as KCR for passing resolution to name the new Parliament House after Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and also for naming the Telangana Secretariat after  Dr  Babasaheb Ambedakar.

 BRS Mumbai Region President Baddy HemantKumar stated that Hon’ble Sri Sayaji Seelam, native of Nizamabad district of Telangana State was elected as the First Speaker of the Maharashtra Assembly and another Leader belonging to Tenugu/Mudiraj (Mali) caste Sri Puppala Narsing was the Mayor of Mumbai in 1954. Apart from this, it was mentioned with respect that many of them were Municipal Corporators and showed the presence of Telugu people in the development of Mumbai. However, after 1970, the prominent Congress & BJP parties in Maharashtra stopped giving tickets to Telugu people to contest elections. But now there is no need for Telugu Mumbaikars to feel sad, now under the leadership of KCR we are ready to take ticket to contest in all the elections in the state of Maharashtra alongwith all other people of Maharashtra since BRS is not restricted to Telugu people only.

Further stated that Congress & BJP State governments had failed to implement The SC & ST Amendment Order 1976 for the Scheduled Castes Natives migrated to Maharashtra State from other states. Call was given to get ready for Agitation / struggle to achieve this rights.

In the same meeting, BRS Mumbai leader Sukka Narsimha stated "the commencement of BRS Kandivali Branch". He further said that they will soon form committee and seek approval of the party.

 Another leader Suresh Mudiraj said that next month further meetings shall be held and branches shall also commence in Mahalakshmi, Mulund, Chembur, Vashi, Kalwa, Thane etc.

Kattera Ramulu Maharaj, Kodapuram Babu Maharaj, Singapanga Muttiah Maharaj, M. Das Goud, Sukka Ashok Maharaj  and others participated in this Inaugural meeting of BRS.
